The change starts from within
In addressing the United Nations on the International Day of Yoga in 2016, the Yoga Master Sadhguru reminded us that “with the “Sustainable Development Goals we are talking about human well-being. How can you transform the world without transforming individual human beings?” And if we want to see more compassion, equity, love and joy in the world, should we not start by experiencing and embodying these qualities ourselves?
But it can be so hard! So many of us work so passionately in helping others, that we forget to take care of ourselves. Burn out, exhaustion, or simple discouragement, are such common companions of those who work in humanitarian aid, environmental activism and sustainable development.
In accompanying you in a journey of personal fulfilment, I draw upon the tools of Ananda Yoga, Yogananda’s Energization Exercises, meditation and coaching. Central to my approach are active listening and empowering you to be master of your energy.
